BRAZILIAN, BOOKs & the BROAD
Thursday, MAY 23, 2019
The Broad, downtown L.A.'s $140 million contemporary art museum financed by billionaire Eli & Edythe is the repository for some of the most expensive artwork on the planet. Enjoy approximately 90 minutes at leisure to explore on a self guided visit with a VIP (no waiting) entrance.
This afternoon we enjoy an included lunch at Fogo de Chão, an authentic Brazilian steakhouse tradition which begins at the Market Table where you can return as many times as you like for fresh seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, imported cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, seasonal soup and more. Once seated you'll receive continuous tableside service of signature cuts & meat, fire-roasted and served by the gaucho chefs. Be sure to leave room for dessert - family-style platters with bite size treats.
Enjoy time at leisure at the Last Bookstore, the iconic L.A. bookstore housed in the grand atrium of what was once a bank. The bookstore specializes in reasonably priced used books, and a selection of well-kept vintage books as well.
