DAY TRIPS

The Santa Ana Elks Travel Club is FREE to all Elks, TAWC, AUMC and their families and friends 

We meet on the first Friday of each month at 1:00 PM, unless otherwise notified
We will be meeting at the NEW Santa Ana Elks Lodge at 1751 S. Lyon Street, Santa Ana, Ca 
ALSO ALL TRIPS DEPART AND RETURN TO the Santa Ana Elks Lodge
​Sign-up/Reservations must be paid for to ensure your space on the trip; a stand by list will be made if the trip is full.

A minimum of 40 travelers are needed to cover the costs of transportation

CARMEN GOES TO THE MOVIES

Unforgettable music in a phenomenal venue!  The Philharmonic's world-renowned musicians will once again delight, amaze and entertain us with an awe-inspiring concert at the incomparable Walt Disney Concert Hall.   Todays Concert features Audrey Babcock and Cedric Berry, Excerpts from "Carmen" and classic film music by Ennio Morricone (The Mission,"  "A Fistful of Dollars," "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," and "Cinema Paradiso"

L.A. MURDER, MYSTERY & SCANDAL

Today we are joined by professional step-on guide, Curt, a history buff with an expertise on the evolution of L.A. On this fascinating guided L.A. tour, the old ghosts and memories that cling to the streets and structures of Los Angeles will come to life.   We’ll explore almost 100 years of murder, mystery and scandal and the influence that organized crime had on this city. We’ll visit fascinating neighborhoods and see the locations where the most famous and the most mysterious murders, suicides and cover-ups took place. Visit Olvera Street, the Biltmore Hotel, the Bradbury Building and a cemetery that is the final resting place of both the famous and the infamous. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch on your own at L.A.’s famous and eclectic Grand Central Market. Suggested: walking shoes.

CANDALABRA CHRISTMAS 
A HOLIDAY TRIBUTE TO MR. SHOWMAN, LIBERACE
WEDNESDAY DEC 4, 2019

In his exciting tribute to Liberace, Daryl Wagner showcases his bubbling personality and pizzazz. A protégé of Liberace, Daryl totally recreates the greatness of “Mr. Showmanship” in the award-winning tribute show Legends in Concert.

While working for the legend himself at Liberace’s restaurant in Las Vegas, Daryl got to see the mastery and showmanship first hand. Liberace befriended Daryl and gave him a chance to do impersonations during his show at the Hilton in the 1980’s. Daryl’s friends urged him to work on his act and that was the start of his tribute to the magical man of the keyboard.
